What is DHT?

DHT (dihydrotestosterone), also known as 5-alpha reductase, is a byproduct of the body’s use of testosterone. Both men and women produce DHT (women in smaller amounts), and it is acknowledged as the primary reason for most hair loss.

DHT enters hair follicles through the bloodstream and clogs the follicles preventing them from receiving adequate nutrition and respiration. This results in follicular dormancy or even death, the loss of one’s hair and the subsequent inability to grow hair.

How soon will I see results from using Kevis?

Since Kevis works with your living hair follicles and the natural chemistry of your body, results vary with each client. You may see new hair as soon as two weeks into the program or it may take as long as three to six months.

Kevis results are dependent upon consistency and regularity of product use and the current condition of the client’s hair follicles and scalp. In order to give you an idea of what you can expect from a Kevis Hair Improvement Program here is a breakdown of the average hair improvement timeline:

First Day
The first time you use Kevis, you will experience tingling in your scalp and a slight to medium flush after applying the lotion. Your hair will feel very clean and will move and style in its usual way.

4–6 weeks
You will begin to see signs of Kevis working from the inside out. Your hair will become more supple and softer to the touch. You will notice a greater luster and shine in the hair you have. You will also notice that your scalp is much cleaner and feels healthier. If you experience heavier shedding, do not be alarmed. This is simply your hair follicles more readily recognizing dead hair and rejecting it; a sign that your follicles are “waking up.”

2–3 months
As you approach the end of your first quarter using Kevis, you will see that your existing hair is greatly improved as far as its health and appearance. Your scalp will be much healthier and feel free of residue. You will also start to see the beginnings of new hair pushing through as some of your follicles have been unclogged and are able to produce again.

3–6 months
While moving through this period of time, look for light to moderate growth from those follicles that have been cleaned out by Kevis and a maintained level of health in your existing hair and scalp.

6–9 months
You should look to experience moderate growth pushing forth from those follicles that were initially unclogged by the Kevis lotion and Accelerator in the first month or two of your program. Look for more small hairs pushing forth from those more stubborn follicles which were more severely clogged with DHT.

9–12 months
You may be having mild, moderate, or heavy growth from now fully depending on the strength and health of your follicles and the level that Kevis has managed to rid them of DHT. Also, your hair growth at this stage of the program is variable to the degree you have thoroughly and correctly followed the regimen of your program.

What can I do to boost the efficiency and effectiveness
of my Kevis Hair Improvement Program?

A number of factors can be involved with one’s hair loss. Kevis clients are encouraged to get plenty of rest, eat a nutritious diet and precisely follow their Kevis Hair Improvement Program.

Will I have to use the Kevis products every day for the rest
of my life like products that contain the drug minoxidil?

No. Kevis is used frequently for a year. During this time, our product naturally cleans and rejuvenates hair follicles to restore them to hair-producing condition. After this period, clients should speak with a Kevis Customer Service Consultant to re-evaluate the condition of their hair.

Since the hormone DHT, which causes hair thinning and loss, is continually produced by the body, the potential exists for it to again build-up in and clog hair follicles. This can be prevented by applying the Kevis 1 Year Total Maintenance Program. Some Kevis clients decide to continue use more often and see further results.

What happens if I stop using Kevis?

Nothing. When a client has achieved the results they were looking for from Kevis, they can stop and the hair they have will remain intact. Healthy, DHT-free follicles are able to continue producing hair.

There is the potential for one’s follicles to become once again blocked by DHT. The 1 year Total Maintenance Program is designed to protect against future DHT build-up.

How long will it take to apply Kevis products?

Kevis Shampoos, Conditioner, and Accelerator can all be applied in the shower and will only add a few minutes to your normal routine to allow for absorption of HUCP molecules by the scalp.

Kevis Hair and Scalp lotion can be applied to wet or dry hair and may be used in the morning or evening or both should you prefer to double your dosage. Application and scalp massage involved in the use of Kevis lotion requires 3-5 minutes.

Can I use hair styling products like I normally do?

Yes, but they should be used after applying Kevis Extra Strength Hair and Scalp Lotion.

Can I still color or perm my hair?

Yes. However, you should not use Kevis products the day after coloring your hair.

Why do I only use a small amount of the shampoo
and why doesn't it lather as much as others?

The Kevis Shampoos are designed to clean hair without stripping away natural oils. Due to the technical prowess of Kevis Shampoos, hair is cleaned more efficiently and beneficially without the damaging effects of harsh detergents. Our shampoos last longer and go further to protect and fortify your hair.

Are the Kevis products safe for both men and women to use?

Yes. Since Kevis products do not contain drugs and are used only in as external topical applications and contain no circulation-boosting drugs such as minoxidil, they are completely safe for use by both men and women.

However, if you are one of the small percentage of people who have severe allergies to any of the Kevis ingredients, you may want to consult a physician before use.

If I am pregnant or nursing can I use Kevis?

Yes. Since Kevis is not a drug and is not ingested, women who are pregnant or breast feeding children have absolutely nothing to worry about. Also, the application of Kevis during one’s pregnancy can protect against prenatal and post-partum telogen effluvium, the hair loss that many women experience during and after pregnancy.

Can I use Kevis with other hair loss products?

Yes. Since Kevis is not a drug, the potential for synergistic side-effects or combinative reactions while using other hair loss products is harmless.

When was Kevis founded?
